Description: Constructed on a brownfield site which was originally a service depot for Laois County Council this project included 130 apartments over 5 floors, a basement car park with 210 spaces, a crèche, new office space and the refurbishment and extension of the Old County Hospital building to provide a new medical centre
Kilminchy Court Neighbourhood Centre (€5 million)
Description: This 5,300 sq.m development comprises a public house, shops, restaurants and offices to serve the 800 new residential units in Kilminchy. The reinforced concrete frame with masonry infill is supported on a piled foundation solution.
Portlaoise Credit Union (€1.4million)
Description: Constructed on an infill brownfield site with a reinforced concrete superstructure, infill masonry and architectural limestone cladding panels.
James Fintan Lalor Avenue Commercial Development, Portlaoise (€2 million)
Description: This 1,330 sq.m development was constructed over three floors providing office and retail space along James Fintan Lalor Avenue. The building incorporated an ASB floor system over a piled ground beam foundation. The complex architectural design required innovative structural solutions to support a number of cantilevered glazed projections and full height elevations.
